Service Models

Onsite Service Model

This service model provides the most appropriate resources at customer site. Onsite service model is appropriate for projects that require work to be done completely onsite at the client premises for any reason. There are two types of onsite service models as described below.

Onsite Project Development

  • Diyatech takes ownership of a project to be developed onsite and is responsible for its successful delivery.
  • Diyatech provides its own project manager, software architect and designers, developers, and QA.
  • Diyatech project manager reports progress to the client.
  • Diyatech team closely works with client's staff based on project needs.
  • Diyatech can do this as a fixed-cost project or on a time-and-material basis.

Onsite Staff Augmentation

  • Diyatech provides highly specialized resources to become part of client's development team.
  • Client is responsible for managing Diyatech resources including schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Diyatech charges the client on a time-and-material basis for as long as the resources are kept by the client.

Benefits of Onsite Service Model

  • Ability to screen and pick desired resources.
  • Lower risk.

Disadvantages of Onsite Service Model

  • Higher cost. (e.g. compensation, facilities, support, management etc.)
  • Medium to low level of scalability.
